I saw this on somebody’s facebook account and was curious on how true it is. I am not endorsing this message, just wanting some opinions. [...] The local vet..says on the message they open at 830 this morning..I’ve been calling and they’re obviously not there. Diesel HAS to have some sort of blockage..this needs taken care of. This is day 10 of no food and minimal water [...] So when we got Sophie she was squatting every 5 seconds to pee and the guy who brought her asked us to take her to our vet and they would reimburse us. So we did and it turned out she had/has a bladder infection and has been on medication since thursday. She seems to be doing better [...] Our old vet was on an Army base and really over vaccinated (I didn’t have much of a choice, there was Army regulations involved since we lived on post) and always told me my dogs were underweight and that I was abusing them by having them on a raw diet instead of a “great kibble like science diet.” :rolleyes: I called a vet this morning and did a quick interview. He is a very strong supporter of titers, less vaccines (not vaccinating for things that are not a problem around here), and the raw diet. [...] First off, I’m sorry to post on an issue that has already been discussed but I have read a few Demodex threads on here and had a few questions and thought a personalized thread to my dog would help me find the answers I need.
