On June 30th, 2010 I went out to Pensacola Beach to do a quick photoshoot for work. On the way home I decided to check out our beaches and see if there were more oil on them as result of the huge waves churned up by Hurricane Alex. While I did not see the [...] We went down to the beach in Biloxi yesterday to take some pre-oil pictures. We arrived just in time to catch a glimpse of something reddish floating on top of the water. I began to take pictures as it washed in with the tide. [...] These pictures are of the oil/tar that washed up on Pensacola Beach today. It’s so devastating! [...] |
