After 2 years of fostering puppies for a private rescue, and my 3rd pittie mix, it is finally official. Abby has a home. When I brought her home 5 months ago she was 2 months old. [...] Sometime just after 2pm on Friday, a single car crash occured near the intersection of Canal and Division streets in Lockport, IL. The silver SUV involved in the crash, landed on the driver’s door, partially submerged in the nearby I&M Canal. [...] So when we got Sophie she was squatting every 5 seconds to pee and the guy who brought her asked us to take her to our vet and they would reimburse us. So we did and it turned out she had/has a bladder infection and has been on medication since thursday.
