I have been documenting lost and abandoned shoes, which I now efer to as Lost Soles, littering our highways an parks for over 4 years now and have gotten some very compelling images that tell a story. Recently after the BP oil spill disaster I came across a lost, what was once bright white, flip flop, on the oil smeared Pensacola Beach shoreline that I call home and made the scope of the disaster become realized for me. [...] Sasha made out like a bandit Saturday night. We took her out to get a cookie at the petstore down the road.
