[...] I have been reading several threads on different training and behavior tips and some of them are great. I guess the problem is where to start first. I have had my dog for about five months now and while some things are getting better others are getting worse [...] hello my name is Leah and i recently rescued a dog from a shelter, he is a white pit bull mix and is 10 mos old. he is a great dog and very loving and loves our 4 mo old daughter, but we are having some issues with him. He is deaf, he knows a few hand signals, but he follows us everywhere, when we let him outside he will stand by the door untl we let him in or go out with him, and if we dont go out with him he will do his bis on the patio [...] Hello, I just recently brought home a pup. The lady I bought him from gets food from a feeding store, however, due to the holiday, i wasn’t able to get that particular brand and fed him another (still a good brand) Today, I was able to get the brand he is used to…but what I really honestly need to know his how much should he be eatting? I set a half a cup of food…and by the end of the day, it will maybe half gone—and that’s if I sit there and hand feed it to him [...] Anesthesia in dogs can cause the ticks to crawl all over the place :yuck: This dog was down for surgery (fox tails embedded into his mouth and caused a huge abscess) and just a minute or so after we put the ‘gas mask’ on him, a billion ticks started crawling up out of his fur. I was so disgusted, especially since my hand had been resting right on his chest when they started to move [...] |
