I have been documenting lost and abandoned shoes, which I now efer to as Lost Soles, littering our highways an parks for over 4 years now and have gotten some very compelling images that tell a story. Recently after the BP oil spill disaster I came across a lost, what was once bright white, flip flop, on the oil smeared Pensacola Beach shoreline that I call home and made the scope of the disaster become realized for me. [...] U.S. Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati says the American team did not meet his expectations at the World Cup and he likely will meet with Bob Bradley after the tournament to discuss the coach’s future. [...] Chris Bosh keeps getting asked about his future. He still doesn’t have an answer. [...] France coach Raymond Domenech said his players acted like imbeciles by protesting Nicolas Anelka’s expulsion from the team by refusing to train just two days before the match that decides their World Cup future. [...] I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida during it’s Grand Opening the weekend of June 18-20. I was able to get into the parks a day early on the 17th and enjoy all the shops of Hogsmeade. It is definitely a trip a Harry Potter fan must do! The park was very authentic and you really felt as if you were in Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. [...] |
