here in australia it is so hard to find a reputable breeder who doesn’t just breed for looks,colour,size,money etc.I have a 2yr old male and have been looking for a female(no not to mate with mine),my male although he is a great dog and excells in everything he does was bred by a questionable breeder who in my opinion just bred for colour but my husband got him as a suprise for me otherwise I would have not got him from that breeder,they were only breeding blue pups and selling them at a fairly high price,I have just started showing him but even that is hard as not many shows are ran here in western australia but he does well in the ones we do attend my question is how do I go about finding a good breeder with quality pups in australia? I have looked around some of the shows but most of them are BYB’s who are showing their dogs so they can get more for the pups.I have no intentions of breeding my dog or the new puppy but would like a pup that has show potential.I have seen pups here for $4000(australian) with no recognised linage and no papers,I have even had people offering me ridiculous amounts of money to breed their bitch to my male njust because he is blue(I always tell them exactly where to go) [...]
