Celebrants gathered along the beach and park area in Pascagoula, Mississippi to celebrate July 4th festivities and prepare to watch the evenings fireworks display. Recently after the BP oil spill disaster I came across a lost, what was once bright white, flip flop, on the oil smeared Pensacola Beach shoreline that I call home and made the scope of the disaster become realized for me.
